GHESKIO Celebrates 44 years

In 2025:

  • 187,000 clinical consultations were provided.
  • 410,000 lab tests were performed.
  • 18,500 people living with HIV remained in care.
  • 1,400 tuberculosis patients were treated.
  • 48,000 displaced people received care through mobile clinics.
  • 3,500 children were treated for severe acute malnutrition.
  • 12,000 mental health consultations were delivered.
  • 2,400 survivors of sexual violence received treatment and support.

For more than four decades, GHESKIO has operated through political instability, natural disasters, and public health emergencies.

Across HIV treatment, tuberculosis care, maternal health, mobile clinics, and education – services remain active.
In 2026, the work continues.

The clinic lights turn on.
The lab machines run.
Doctors and staff care for their patients.
Mobile teams head out.

This work is made possible by a community.
By doctors and staff who show up each day.
By partners and supporters who remain committed.

To all who make this possible.
Thank you.
