There was a small gathering at the end of the afternoon on the 2nd of December to celebrate Marie Eugenie and Yonie Cadot.
The two women pictured were Dr. Pape’s first two employees in 1979 at the Haiti State University Hospital before GHESKIO had been created. Mrs. Marie Eugenie Beaulieu is a highly skilled lab technician and Yonie Cadot is our head nurse.
Four decades later, they are still with us! They have been with GHESKIO through the good times and the hardest.
We are so grateful for their commitment and service to the Haitian people.
